It seems some of the high scores are "not so old". I havne't had access to the net when playing and have been using an old (development server) set of high scores. In many places where I thought I got a clear number one I am number 3.

It is good to see that these scores keep on being improved. I'll make my ranking score a little more competitive but am not sure about number one. Some of the levels there require reactions that I simply don't have. I can tell this by playing back games and looking at sections where I stop for a bit or wander about thinking. : :

Come on, Wil I'm sure many players would like to have your reactions and you skills. And for some levels, the reactions are not enough. I could not complete level 1 as fast as you guys, so I scratched my head for a while and finally : managed to get a new method. It can still be improved, but I'm glad I was the first to prove that 1000 was not the limit :

Fantastic... that's what makes it such a great game. I will have to work on timing rock drops too. Pity, I worked my arse off making a method that would get number 1 there... still I'm sure the skeleton of it will survive.

Wow, what the ...?! This definitely is what makes the game great. Many times a level beaton to death rises up with a new method. Nice one seb. I tried to figure that one out but haven't managed to solve it yet.

Sometimes I think of bd4 as a wizard's contest. Each magician performs his secret tricks, showing to the amazement of all others the result in the form of an incredible new score. You never tell the secret. You let the other ones figure it out for themselves, how could such an incredible feat be accomplished... And you get baffled when you discover sometimes later that you've been not only equalled, but that you were defeated by a new challenger.

Great game ! :

I worked it out... not too many possibilities really. Now the trick is to actually get 1018 fast enough. I ran out of time at around 700 despite giving up with about 10 to go and trying to clean up. I've looked at the level trying to find structure and a method that is reliable and fast.... this will take me some time. Meanwhile I've been playing a chaotic level without any success of beating seb's scores! At least I've got a second place back! And it's a fun level.
