Hey guys, I had an interesting idea after reading the replies to the posts.
Maybe it would be a good idea if other people who want to "compete" have a fighting chance...Gimme a sec to explain.
Those people who want to enter a points challenge can email Wil(or split it up between some of you guys since it would take some time to do...I don't know, it's just a thought...).
People who wish to join the points challenge email whomever the level they want to be in (beginner, intermediate, hard, and superb).
At the beginner challenge level, whoever has the most levels at 300 points or more gets first rank.
At intermediate the most at 500 points would get rank one.
The hard level you need 700 and the superb level would have all you 1000 point people.
That way instead of trying to rank up there with you guys who have killed the game hundreds of times over, where we have no hope in hell of ranking that high, others can 'compete' with those at their point level.
Also if you rank high enough you can "graduate" to the next level. I'm not sure how you would work that out either.
If a person ranks first in their point level maybe someone can review a few of the levels done by that person and give them a tip to help get to the next point level....
But this would just be for those who want to do it...i understand that some just play for fun...
I don't know I'm just pitching thoughts out there.
What do you think??? (Just a general feel for the idea)

Interesting idea, but I'm off for a month or just under, flying out tomorrow. Currently you can view the number of
500,
700,
800,
900,
1000,
1500 or
2000 point levels! I think there is a minimum of 500 on this page. It doesn't rank players but I guess I could add that.... and even put people in classes if you like (e.g. beginner, intermediate, etc, open). I could even insist that for a player to call themselves "beginner" they would have to be outside the top 10 ranked players in all level sets.
Well, more design options or ideas welcome. In the meantime the rankings go right down to the top 200 and beyond! |
