I'm pretty busy, but had a quick look (will look again later, but really don't have the time at the moment). A few things (mostly unrelated):

You need to change the keyboard logic (maybe to clone bd4s) since I find it hard to move smoothly using the keys. I believe my logic is simple. If ineterested email me and I'll sent you code or similar.

Can you keep this topic to one forum thread please :)

I can probably get you a test release - give me a few weeks to get around to it - I have changed machines at least twice since I last built bd4 under windows - so I have to ensure the cross compilation, etc works and change some code. I don't actually use Windows at all (hence the poor UI and game version for windows which is based on borrowing a Windows 95 book for a couple of days!)

Have you had any luck on the replaying of recorded games? Do they give the same score? etc - I am keen for compatibility there, as discussed via email.

... yeah, I need to look at it more before I can give further feedback, etc ..

I have modified the key movement and dropped it back to just six keys, movement, flick/action key and the change tools key. Have not looked at the playing the recorded games back as yet....other things to do an all. will post a new link and let you know the progress...

Finally remembered to check this out and I have to agree, the movement was pretty akward. A lot of it may be the fact that bd4 movement is second nature but I definitely felt that I didn't get the response from the movement keys I expected. Movement is such an important part of this type of game that if it doesn't work every other nice feature is buried underneath this glitch. Otherwise a very nice effort, it's very difficult when you are actually being compared to bd4 which I've been playing for a lot of years now :
