Okay, I've been playing too.... recently looking at these levels:

Quote (highScores):
level 7 - still no idea. I've gazed and played. Obviously you need to go around clockwise. I'm looking for some drop the gem and pick it up in your path later or push-based or other method but can't find any. I did come up with 4 sections which I found alternative (quite different) ways to do them but each was exactly the same (oh, there were many that were slower). I'm equal 4th with my optimal solution. It's all about method and I've lost this puzzle! :

Now for the popular one...

Quote (highScores):
level 77 - I like my method here and have a few ticks up my sleeve. Expect more here... but when I return. :

The long waited one...

Quote (highScores):
level 55 - Achieved this morning. I was stoked to get this 1000 pointer off my chest. After all the concern that I didn't have what it took I managed 1006. : 1010 is possible and 1008 probably humanly possible. Perhaps 1012-1015 is theoretically possible.

And the easy ones...

Quote (highScores):
level 41 - This took way too long. How hard can it be to find the optimal route on such a simple level. I feel I pretty much exhausted all possibilities only to return to my original run with a very slight variation right near the start. Yep, I felt pretty stupid. Optimal like you all now.
level 68 - A pity it had to end like this. Replaying my recording I found a place where I was waiting a few ticks for bombs. By making a a detour earlier I avoided this gaining 2 ticks overall. I may be able to gain more by carefully modifying my method. The pity is there is no point since any faster at the start will be blocked at the end (unless someone really improves). The current optimal score is blocked by a barrier. If someone does beat it they will smash it. :

And finally, the dice

Quote (highScores):
level 10 - Again a revisit to level 10 made me think how the hell do they do it. Without any old recordings and with the knowledge that Keith (The K Man) had a big score here I figured there must be a method I could use to get 707 or 708. After much playing I polished off a method to get scores between 705 and 710. Then I started doing what I hate (I'd call it a dud level to some extent) ... that being to come up with pretty much an exact method and play it repeatedly until luck comes my way. After many attempts and numerous 710 scores and many scores of 708 or 709 which had brilliant starts but slow rock pushes I got lucky. With a fast start I managed to get all but 1 rock pushes, with that one delaying me by just the one tick. So, for my method my score is one tick off optimal. That's for my method. I'm thinking it can be improved by a different method but that would need even more luck. Still not happy about dice levels (hey seb?).

Expect a post once the rankings have (again) been regenerated. I want to see if asarkila was ever ranked number one! With the ticks he insisted I add he may have missed out yet again!

Nice work Wil and seb. Nice to have some action in Homelands since it's clearly the most prestigious of all levelsets. And about being number one: I'm very happy to be in the top 5. I think I belong there but number one has always belonged to a better player than me and I don't mind losing to a better player. I will try though, my resiliance is my only strength :

And talking about rolling the dice: A tiny bit of luck?

I hope he didn't get it on the first try : Nice work seb.

Well, it seems on the current graph you are number one between 10:00 on the 9th of May to 16:00 on the 10th of May 2005. All other times you were not.... seems those ticks clearly hurt you. As I predicted DREAM held number one clearly for a long period of time. Now he is clearly number 4! I don't think even the missing ticks would help now.

I'd say DREAM will be back from time to time but wouldn't hold your breath - maybe not this year.

I'd like to see you stay at number one a little longer....

I've also noted that you've gain considerable pointage in the last month, whereas I'm still behind what I was before this latest French onslaught!

I'll try to get there and stay there a little longer but it's pretty difficult now since the competition is pretty active, but that's how it should be. Good luck to you both.
