I'm just throwing this idea in the air so that we can decide weither it's useful or useless.
I was playing one of the new levels and calculating the maximum points available in theory. When I was writing them down I thought "What a great idea it would be if I could write these down within the game". This way I could read the info later on so I wouldn't have to do the calculating again when I come back to the level say a year from now.
In practise this would mean that within the game I would press a button and an info window would come up and I could write down info of the level that I would find useful, for example, the points that each objects is worth, some tactics/methods I have tried and the ones that seem to work, yam killing order etc. I think that a big part of bd4 highscore making is working out what points each object is worth and I don't think an object scoring system should ever be automatic. I mean that bd4 client shouldn't tell the player each objects worth as it does with remaining diamonds etc. This should be left to the player and the "level info" -feature would enable the player to write down these important facts.
As a developer this would propably mean that a notes-directory would be created under bd4 home and in that dir there would be a dir for each levelset and in those the actual info files.
Does anyone else think this would be useful ?
