"If you equal a score, then the exit time is used to decide which score is better. If both are equal the score which is most recent is considered superior. This means that the high score on a level is always beatable but causes some debate, especially on level 64! " this is what one of the ideas says, didnt we change that so if it was equal top it was shared points, only because i proved the point by being completely annoying and regetting all the easy old ones to bump me up to number one with little effort.....hehe....might wanna change that tooo......

The new system is much, much better. The old system was very annoying. Thank god(=Wil) that this is corrected now.

You only have to take care that you don't get kicked out of the Top 100 of level 64. Well, this might take some time.
It's also good that the exact time including the ticks is taken for deciding who's better. The bad effect of this is that people who haven't played BD4 since this change was made (some years ago) might have a better time, but it is redarded to be worse because the ticks were not saved. On the other hand: why did they stop playing BD4? :

Yep... the way it is now is correct but does have the problem of dropping out of the top 100 on levels like 64. At least this means you only have to play once 100 other people (or teams) have done so. Of course once 100 people get the same score it's only worth about 85 points so it not so much of an issue (as two people dropping your 1000 points to 500 without much/an effort).

It's a pity about the ticks on old versions and I'd still suggest that if DREAM had replayed his "old levels" he'd be ranked number one. I think it was a good idea to bite the bullet and change it. Every now and again an old player comes back and betters their score. Having said that it's probably more refreshing for people to go for new scores rather than chase their old ticks. Their problem.

Is good as is :)

Oh, and this is why I don't have a "number one count". It's hard to handle the case where people are tied (ie the query wouldn't be that efficient.

I think this is the same situation when they started using 1/100 seconds in timing the 100m dash for example. It's just a natural evolution of the sport/game. Ultimately, it's good for the sport/game. I definitely think that ticks give new meaning to the levels.
