Okay, guys.... it seems there are many levels (particularly in the new level sets) where 1000 points is possible but barely. I have my own tally, as of yesterday and it seems that the number of levels for which 1000 points has been achieved on each level set is as follows

Quote:
Homelands 23
Tropical 38
Forest 15
Jungle 22
Fruity 50
Farmlands 18

I've been going pretty hard on Fruity and have 49 of the 50 with dream having level 6 : :. As for the others I have 19 on homelands, 29 on tropical (many achieved yesterday), 7 on forest, 14 on jungle and 18 on farmlands.

So, the challenge is to get as many 1000 pointers as possible. I will be aiming to get 1000 points whereever anyone else has (except hamelands where I'm more or less spent). And your challenge is the same!

Last night I had some lucky ones on level 48, 49 and 50 of tropical getting exactly 1000 points on each. Or should I say everyone else had some luck since these scores were as low as I was willing to accept, if you see what I'm saying.

Good luck... and lets see how we go at getting over 1000 on as many levels as possible! Remember that on Farmlands it was traditional to clock the game (max score of 999) so fewer levels will be possible here. For the new level sets I've attempted to make 1000 a challenge while setting the scores. Some levels will be harder than others and some will be impossible..

There is much scope in Forest, but with seb back maybe Fruity will increase to 60!

Okay, asarkila.... I had a little time but didn't fix the html tags in message posts. I did however add a nice page for all those chasing 1000 points.

The 1000 pointer page

On another note: I'm looking forward to seb's ticket being checked in!

What is that "Hmm, so that's how it is." comment in my "hall of fame" ? : I didn't wake a sleeping giant, did I ? : I never meant to step on your toes :

why not take it to the next step and add a number one score counter like this so we can see who has most number ones on a specific level set.....i mean its all stats in the end...., and rather than doing it like you are could yopu make it like another high score table of most 1000 pointers highest to lowest that way everyone is involved rather that us at the top or currently active......same for the number one tally, you could do an overall and an individual for each level set if you wanted.....be interesting.........would be very good so you could compare yourself with others......what do you think?

We used to have that and I'll add it sometime.... but for the moment I'm seriously all bd4-ed out. I spent A LOT of time playing over the weekend and getting 1000 pointers. It seems there are three new ones for me to get.... and of course 3 that I'm currently unable to get. seb's score on level 50 is just amazing! His 78 is also too good for me. This is homelands of course. I'm also beaten on level 75 because I just don't have the reaction (or luck) on the auto yam run (for number one). Oh, I'm talking Homelands here.... which I went back to get seal 1000 points on levels 70 and 75. : :
