BD4 FAQ / offline / simple_linux

Just a message from someone and my simple reply. This should help people playing using the Linux version to get started at playing offline.

Note: You can also create your player from the offline tools page.

Hi,

Sorry about the delay.. too many email and too many things to do.

If you connect to the net and then type something like this:

> bd4 NAME PASSWORD

... then enter some basic details you'll create a new player. Then 'q' to
quit the game (or just play online)....

Then to get a ticket either use the web pages of perhaps easier type
something like

> bd4 -g NAME PASSWORD

This will get a ticket. Again you can press 'q' to quit or continue
playing 'offline' ... ie you can disconnect.

To play again (offline) type:

> bd4 -o NAME PASSWORD

and to check the ticket in type

> bd4 -u

to upload the ticket!

This is pretty primitive I know! The "bd4 -h" for brief help usage.
